If you are a tradesman wondering why or whether you should become a transition assistant, get a sheet of paper and write down the answers to these questions.

1. Do you enjoy showing or teaching others things that you are good at?

2. Are you patient with others while they are trying to duplicate tasks that you are showing them?

3. Are you good at analyzing the problems that sometime arise with others, while you are teaching them?

4. Are you really good at your trade or are you suffering from a delusion of grandeur about your true capabilities? :)

If you answered yes to the first three question, no to question #4, you probably should try to be a transition assistant.
