This site was designed as a connection between people

who are skilled in crafts or trades and wish to be of a

service to people seeking to enter that profession.

Please stay tuned as we get everything set to go!

This site was created by a retired truck driver/ Truck Driver Training Instructor, so it is no surprise that it contains information that would be of interest to people seeking that trade, keep on the look out for the entry level truck driver book that is hopefully on the horizon! The following is an excerpt.

Truck Driving Made Simple

exerpt from chapter,

Observation

Observation is one of the skills that is freely available to everyone that can pass their D.O.T. Physical, which must be passed at least every two years.

I find it mighty strange how some folk can use their powers of observation for hours on end while playing video games, even to the extent of finding hidden objects in the 3D rooms that they enter, But refuse to look much further than 30 feet past their hood while they are driving!

You should always look as far up the road as you can see, and yet at all times be aware of who is along side you and who is behind your truck. This development of your observatory skills could be the deciding factor in not getting surprised by someone lurching out of a driveway saying “May I Play"?

You should at all times know who the players in the game are and be aware as well, of the ones standing on the sidelines waiting for the losers, so they can carry them to the court!
